What is Coaching?
Sometimes you want support to be more effective at home or at work. Often you don’t need to
look into past relationships and explore emotions in depth, as you might in counseling, to
accomplish your goals.
Compared with counseling, coaching tends to focus more on developing practical skills and
applying them to present and future situations. It focuses less on exploring relationships and
difficult experiences from the past. Coaching tends to be less emotion-focused than counseling,
and focuses more on results. It often takes less time to see positive changes!
